Charlon’s basketball career is a journey where specific values serve as his compass in life. These values keep him grounded through the game wins and losses, through life’s breakdowns and breakthroughs. Until this day these values continue to lead him towards his goals and dreams.

Charlon was born and raised in Paramaribo, Surinam. It was at the early age of eight, that he found his passion in basketball. From there in South America, his basketball career went on through all of Europe. Over the years he also found joy, gratitude, consistency and much more on his basketball journey of becoming the best version of himself.

When all the lights are off, Charlon stays on course. His compass carries on every single day. These moments of his daily life are captured in an inspiring set of five docuseries, titled: “The story continues.” You’ll get to have a closer look to see what Hard work, Family, Consistency and much more, means to Charlon Kloof.

Giving back all started with just a kid from Surinam, who wanted to prove that his country has what it takes to make it. In 2015 Charlon started a foundation named “One Sports” in Surinam. One Sports trains and guides children and youths towards reaching their full potential in basketball. The foundation supports them in the process of getting a scholarship.
